Associate AttorneyJack started his law career as a paralegal at the State of Maryland Office of the Public Defender for Baltimore City, Felony Trial Division, where he worked alongside attorneys and exclusively worked on serious felony cases to provide the best representation possible. While living in Baltimore, Jack earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore in 2016.
In 2019, Jack was accepted into the Michigan State University College of Law. He picked up his life in Baltimore and moved to Lansing a city that quickly became his new home. At the end of his first year, Jack was accepted into the prestigious and highly selective Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, the only program at Michigan State University College of Law that specializes in producing trial-ready lawyers with a hunger for litigation. Since February of 2020, Jack worked nonstop at various law offices until he found the Law Office of Reid Felsing in May of 2021. Under the tutelage of Reid Felsing, managing attorney of the firm, Jack took on complex criminal and civil cases, with great success. He continued to work on honing his litigation skills and achieving success for the firm's clients even while still studying law school. He graduated with his Juris Doctorate in May of 2022, successfully passed the Bar Exam in July 2022, and was sworn in as an attorney on November 9, 2022. Jack has an analytical mind with a passion for his work. His love of litigation makes the prospect of going to court to advocate for his clients' interests an exciting opportunity; Jack, however, is also aware of the interest in settling cases to avoid trial costs. At all stages, he works to ensure that the client’s best interests are advanced, whether that be settlement or trial. When it comes to criminal defense, Jack is a fierce defender of civil rights and will fight from day one to get the best outcome. As the first associate to the growing Law Office of Reid Felsing, Jack’s growth as an attorney will rise in tandem with the growth of the firm, as he brings in new clients and establishes himself as a preeminent litigator in the Lansing area. When not practicing law, Jack spends his time with his wife, Amy, their daughter, three cats, and one dog. A voracious reader, Jack is never without a book to read in the quiet times of his life. |
